“Burnie Identities” is a series based around people and the connection that they have made with Burnie throughout their lives.
The seven people photographed for this series have created spaces where they have either been directly involved with the community or have been a member of the working community that has helped to shape the Burnie that we know today.
The series of black and white photographs captured throughout 2021 celebrates the contribution of a small number of makers, business people and volunteers who happily opened their spaces for display to the public through the lens of photographer Tara Palmer.
