News

Latest news about music, stage shows, theatre, and performing arts in Burnie.

History

In 1976 the Burnie Civic Centre was officially opened and was the first purpose-built fully professional regional arts centre in Tasmania.

Keep in touch

Our staff are here to help. Please call, email or pop in to visit us if you have any questions regarding upcoming shows, purchasing tickets or hiring an event space.

Sponsors

Our centre continues to deliver an outstanding program of performing arts in the region thanks to the generous support we receive.

Supporters

The Burnie Arts & Function Centre, Gallery and Museum are financially supported by Burnie City Council and the Tasmanian Government through Arts Tasmania.

Volunteers

We are indebted to our volunteers supporting our activities both front of house and behind the scenes.

Learn

We have put together a series of education resource for an understanding of the history of north-west Tasmania.
