Limitless Learning - Burnie Regional Museum

The staff and Friends of the Burnie Regional Museum are delighted to be involved in the Limitless Learning project led by the Peter Underwood Centre, at the University of Tasmania.

The Limitless Learning Project is all about children and young people:

• sharing ideas of what they love about the learning destination;
• co-designing and co-creating exciting new learning activities; and
• sharing the new activities for the community to enjoy.

Here at the Burnie Regional Museum, Primary school students from Children’s University worked collaboratively with staff from the Peter Underwood Centre, Burnie Arts (Burnie City Council), and Friends of the Burnie Regional Museum, to co-create learning experiences and activities.

The nine learning destinations currently involved in Limitless Learning are the Burnie Regional Museum, the Low Head Pilot Station Maritime Museum, the Launceston Tramway Museum, the Great Western Tiers Visitor Centre, the Tamar Island Wetlands Centre, the National Automobile Museum of Tasmania, the Devonport Regional Gallery, Hive Tasmania in Ulverstone, and the Galley Museum in Queenstown.
