2023 marks the end of an era for Burnie Concert Band. Our Senior Musical Director, David Turner, is retiring after thirty years at the helm. Come and hear the band present some of David’s favourite music from the last 30 years, including selections from Dr Who and Blood, Sweat & Tears.
Kathleen Matthews, our Adult Learners Musical Director, is also stepping down after ten years leading this group. The Adult Learners will play some of their favourite numbers from the last 10 years.
The Junior Learners, Junior Band and jazz ensemble Sync or Swing all have new musical directors this year and will each present a selectin of tunes. We are delighted that Segway Choir are also joining us for the evening. We invite you to be part of this special evening for Burnie Concert Band.
