2 Day Music Workshop

An opportunity that you simply cannot afford to let pass you by!

Are you writing songs or playing in a band?

Are you aged 16-25?

If the answer is “yes, yes” then you need to be a part of our free 2-day music workshop for young people at the new Burnie Arts Centre in October.

What’s on offer?

2 full days of music making, conversation and connection.  Held during the October school holidays.  Spots are limited to keep it focused and supportive.

• Break open your ideas and turn them in to full songs
• Explore how lyrics, melody and structure work together
• Work through creative blocks and find new ways to write
• Get real about booking gigs, building an audience and releasing your work
• Share your songs and hear how they land.

Led by nationally recognised facilitators from The Push, a national youth music training organisation, with support from Music Tasmania.

Thursday 2 and Wednesday 8 October, 10am – 4pm.
