The Museum of Australian Democracy is excited to partner with the Burnie Regional Art Gallery to present a free Teacher Professional Development event: Media Literacy and Political Cartoons in the classroom.
This interactive session will provide tips and resources to help teachers from all levels to use political cartoons in the classroom to build students' media literacy skills. Join discussions and participate in activities to find out how to analyse political cartoons with students, and ways to work with students to create their own cartoons on issues important to them.
Light refreshments provided.
