The Burnie Arts & Function Centre has been catering in style to formal black tie events, fancy dress balls, annual charity dinners, debutante balls and the like since the 70’s.

Catering quality is one of the most memorable aspects of any special event. Our catering staff take advantage of our bountiful supply of quality Tasmanian produce and provide guests with an exciting and wholesome taste of Tasmania.

Weddings

Whether you’re planning a large wedding or a close-knit gathering, we have a selection of rooms to ensure that you can celebrate in your own way.

The lobby has views of Bass Strait and the nearby West Beach is a favourite spot for photographs.

The Town Hall parquetry floor is perfect for a bridal waltz and the stage is just the place for your band or entertainment.

Expos

The centre’s entire event space is 1700 square metres, making it the region’s only facility that caters for large undercover expos. A large array of audio visual equipment is available including portable lighting and booth dividers and we have professional business partners who can provide specialised exhibition equipment as required

Elevators from the basement to the main level offer easy transportation of equipment from van to exhibition space and there is ample adjacent parking for visitors.

The catering department can put together anything from exhibitors lunch packs (for when you can’t or don’t want to leave your exhibition space) to high profile cocktail parties for your participants to network and celebrate.
