International Jazz Day
International Jazz Day occurs every year on April 30, created by UNESCO to highlight Jazz and its diplomatic role in uniting people around the globe.
Paul Williamson is a prestigious saxophonist from Melbourne, Australia. Paul started his music career as a busy freelance musician. Paul has toured with popular groups Dire Straits, Black Sorrows, and Men at Work.
Paul Williamson currently leads his own group the Paul Williamson Hammond Combo. The band has maintained many residencies in Melbourne (longest running at 22years) and has toured extensively, including most Australian capital cities. The band has also performed at the following Festivals including; Apollo Bay Music Festival 2002, Melbourne International Jazz Festival and Bryan Bay Blues Festival to name a few.
