The Tasmanian Rock Challenge is partnering with Burnie Works, Youth Family and Community Connections Inc., Alcohol and Drug Foundation & IO Performance to present Jeqa + You!

This year, the hosts of each Tasmanian Rock Challenge heat, Tane Emia-Moore (Grim Fawkner) - North-West Heat, Joe Stone (Baby Dave) - Southern Heat and Matt Copping (headspace Launceston) - Northern Heat, will pick two acts from each heat to perform at a free all-ages show with Jeqa at the Burnie Arts & Function Centre on Thursday, September 29th.

This is an exciting opportunity for Tasmanian Rock Challenge acts to;

  • - Connect & interact with your musical peers
  • - Associate & market yourself to new audiences
  • - Gain valuable insight from an active Tasmanian artist

Based in nipaluna/Hobart, Jeqa create big & beautiful sounds that loosely draw inspiration from dream pop & alternative rock.

With lyrical references drawn from fairytales, insects & spiritual epiphanies, the music of these five mates will have you lost in a sea of luscious guitar swirls & powerful soaring melodies.
