Melbourne pianist/composer Nat Bartsch creates gentle, heart-warming lullabies for parents to enjoy with their babies.
Influenced by music therapy, her compositions use repetition, simple melodies and harmonies, and tempos similar to a mother’s heartbeat.
The resulting album, “Forever, and No Time At All” (ABC Classic) soothes many babies to sleep—but just as importantly, it is relaxing for adults.
It has been played in the birthing suite, in the final hours of life, to support people with autism, mental illness, dementia and grief.
Come along with your baby and be transported by Nat’s peaceful piano: who knows, they might even fall asleep!
