Regular Events

Over 40 different types of events take place at the Centre every year. This represents regular usage by 34 community and other organisations.

The busy shedule of meetings, seminars and other functions include many performances.

  • Every Mon afternoon - Art Appreciation Class, for members of the Friends – 4pm till 5pm approx. at the Art Gallery
  • 3rd Mon of the month - Friends of the BRAG meeting – 5pm till 6pm approx. at the Art Gallery
  • 1st Sat of the month - Europa Poets Society – 2pm till 4pm at the Art Gallery
  • Every Wednesday - Wednesday Painters Group – 9.30am till 12 noon at the Art Gallery
  • Every Monday night (except holidays) - Rotary Club of Burnie dinner meeting
  • 4th Monday of every month - Soroptimists International dinner meeting
  • 2nd & 4th Tuesday of every month - City of Burnie Lions Club dinner meeting
  • 4th Tuesday – Advance Burnie
  • 1st Wednesday of every month – Burnie City Council Immunisations
  • 1st Wednesday of every month – Burnie Orchid Society meeting
  • 1st Wednesday of every month – Burnie Sports & Events Citylink Board meeting
