1 Choose the best seats in the house

Subscribers enjoy priority seat allocation for all shows listed, if you subscribe before Monday16 January. After that sales are open to the general public.

NB: David Strassman "Careful What You Wish  For" tickets went on sale to the public on 18 November, 2011.

2 Save 20% off all subscription season shows for you + your family

To enjoy your 20% discount just book any two performances from the Subscription Season before 16 January. After that you are entitled to the same discount for yourself and up to 3 more tickets for any other show in the season* apart from tickets for the Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra and David Strassman, for which subscriber discounts are set at 10%.

3 It’s really convenient

You can make all your bookings at the one time. We mail the tickets out to you or you can pick them up at the box office. No more last minute decisions or waiting around in a queue on the night!

4 Ticket security

We can easily replace your tickets for you if you misplace them and you can still sit in the seats you chose originally.

5 Have a drink on us and meet the artists!

At the end of selected shows in the subscription season, subscribers are invited to share some refreshments and where available, to meet the artists.

Discounts to other shows ...

In 2011 we were able to negotiate with commercial promoters special discounts for our subscribers – including the wonderful Soweto Gospel Choir, Mary Duff, The Delltones, Dorothy the Dinosaur, Kitty Flanagan and many more. From time to time we will let you know which shows, additional to the season, you can have between 10% and 20% discounts.

7 Special savings when you shop at 28 local businesses + council venues!

28 local businesses and council venues have come on board to give our subscribers discounts of between 5% and 20%, on presentation of their current Subscibers Card. Look out for the BAFC Subscribers sticker in business windows.
