8 November - 8 November
Col Elliott is trying to retire. He's been pushing our belly laugh buttons for around 45 years.
He started off the year with a series of concerts "Col's Final Fairdinkum Farewell Tour". As Col said, "I'm Fairdinkum!" They sold out and the venues asked for extra shows. He has agreed to the extra shows and even sought advice from "John".
Seriously, Col needed to spend more time with his wife, kids and grandkids. When he was flat out in his earlier days he said his kids were calling him Uncle. He didn't want to repeat the same mistake.
Now he's going out for selected shows and loving it. He is one of the last Aussie knock-about comedians and is definitely non-conformist when it comes to comedy.
People love this bloke and he loves performing for them. I think it's in his DNA.
By popular demand he is coming back to selected venues. His show is always current and his much loved characters are with him. They are not happy with his decision to retire, especially "Chooka the Roadie” who has threatened to go it alone and do a tribute show of "Billy Joel" - God help us! Please Col don't let this happen!
Don't miss this iconic performer this time round. Col Elliott, an Aussie legend.
