Sunday session of chamber music in Burnie

Virtuosi Tasmania is back with their magnificent show Master String Quartets on Sunday 10 August at 2pm in the Burnie Regional Art Gallery.

Virtuosi Tasmania presents a concert featuring a clarinet Quintet by master composer Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, also the delightful Quartet for Bassoon and Strings composed by Franz Danzi, both performed by members of the Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra.

Deputy Mayor, Sandra French said, “Virtuosi Tasmania is truly Australia’s premier ensemble bringing chamber music to regional Tasmania. The Burnie Regional Art Gallery space provides a wonderful intimate relaxed concert. It will be a very special performance.”

Mozart: Clarinet Quintet in A major, K581

I Allegro II Larghetto III Menuetto IV Allegretto con variazioni

Franz Danzi: Quartet for Bassoon and String Trio in B flat major, Op 40 No 3

I Allegro moderato II Larghetto non troppo III Minuetto: Allegretto IV Allegretto
