Kitty Flanagan: 'Seriously?'

Tuesday, 12 January 2016

Well-known stand-up comedian Kitty Flanagan will kick-off the Burnie Art & Function Centre’s performing arts subscription season with Kitty Flanagan - Seriously? on Saturday 6 February at 8pm.

Kitty has performed on stage all over the world and is also a regular on the small screen, appearing on shows such as The Project, The Weekly with Charlie Pickering and Utopia.

Burnie Arts & Function Centre Director Geoff Dobson said, “This is Kitty’s third national tour, and we are thrilled that she is bringing her show to Burnie. She’s a great performer and is sure to have the audience in fits of laughter.”

In this brand new show, Kitty gives the audience the inside scoop on gravediggers, cops, Cubans and spaghetti ‘soss’. There is advice on how to speak to doctors, some funny music from Sister Penny, plus an attempt to quantify one of life’s biggest mysteries – how much do old people love salt?

BAFC provides disadvantaged young people in our region access to the theatre through it’s Open House program. To donate to Open House contact the Box Office. All donations are used to provide transport and seats to disadvantaged school aged children.
